Railings

Steel railings form part of the landscape in Great Britain used mainly in city areas, and can be seen around the most prestigious properties in the country. Early railings were cast iron although this method is still used occasionally, the majority are mild steel. With the use of modern machinery methods and lazer cutters, elaborate examples can be produced. The most common railings we install are plain vertical bar with or without forged rail heads. This type of railing in various specifications looks elegant, and works extremely well as a robust fence and is a good choice as regards to value for money as its lifespan is probably second to none, especially with galvanised and polyester powder coated finishes. Railings can be made to rake and radius which allows for a versatile fence fitting perfectly to most situations. Hollow section steel can be used to save weight which in turn reduces the cost if required.
